Every actor needs a Showreel. It’s essential for agents and casting directors to see what you can do and see it easily. Here at
My Reel Productions, we create a bespoke scene specifically for you and your casting.

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Upon booking, you and one of our team will discuss your casting and the kind of script that would be best for you. If you already have some source material you think would work, send it over and we will use it as a reference whilst writing your script. If you wish to provide your own script entirely, that’s fine too! Check out our FAQ page to read up on a few stipulations when submitting your own scripts. Scripts must be no longer than 1.5 pages in length and costume and props are your responsibility

LOCATION

The location will be up for discussion depending on the style of the scene. If you have an accessible location in mind, take some photos and let us know during the intitial consultation.

SHOOTING

Shooting one scene usually takes 3-4 hours. And yes. It will actually take that long. There will be a short rehearsal time and discussion scheduled in. Please make yourself available for the entire shoot.

EDITING AND DELIVERY

We will then send you a fully edited version of your showreel scene for review. You’re then at liberty to make any changes you feel work (it is your showreel after all) We will then apply these changes and finalize.

Custom Showreels have a set rate per scene, so if you and another actor wish to split the cost of one scene.
